This is why you don’t get what you want
Hey College Girl!
Have you ever felt like you were deserving of what you desire? It could be as simple as getting free drinks when you go out. You think to yourself, “well I know I have pretty privilege. I know have the gift of gab but I’m not getting my way!”
Maybe it’s because you don’t know just how BAD you are. I am not talking about looks. I am referencing the kind of BAD that resonates from within. The kind of BAD that requires self-respect, boundaries, and where your confidence shines bright. Part of getting your way is rejecting what is below the heights of your essence and presence. If you find yourself accepting the bare minimum, not addressing comments and jokes that offend you, allowing people to push you to the side, or not putting fire to the gas of your dreams, then you will always attract spaces that walk all over you. You were not birthed to be walked all over. You were birthed to be treated like ja delicacy. Adults, animals, and babies should feel who you are when you step into a room. This is not for the purpose of being above anyone or anything because we are NOT. NO ONE is better than the other and that is the written rule. This does not mean you are not allowed to command a room, though. Commanding in spaces through your kindness, confidence, and femininity is the upmost advantage and gift you are bestowed. Do not use this to manipulate for the purpose of seeing others suffer, but for the purpose of carrying out your destiny in this world.
I like to think of it this way—We are vessels brought to Earth for an assignment. We must acknowledge that we are in a vessel (our bodies), which is a temple (sacred space), that is to be taken care of to the best of our ability. This does not mean to put emphasis on your physical to the extent you forget about the reason why you are here. This means you should show up in the way you want to be treated. You should show up in the brightness of your Spirit. Walking in your divine assignment and element is what it means to get what you want.
It can be a hard journey. It can feel lonely even. Other girls, women, and even men may be envious of the depth you carry. They may even be upset that you recognize who you are but they struggle to navigate the world because they do not know who they are. It is not your responsibility to show them who they are either. It is your responsibility, though, to teach people how to treat you and how they should carry themselves through being a representation of your destiny. When you know your assignment, you do things differently, You talk different, eat different, frequent in specific spaces, speak different, vent to particular individuals, and you respect God different. You see why God say He is who he says He is. You see why God places you in certain rooms and makes you learn the lessons you do. You start to carry yourself like you KNOW who God is.
When you walk in this alignment, you are guaranteed to get what it is you want because it is written.
